“Parties based in Delhi, such as East India Company”

Bathinda: Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) president Sukhbir Singh Badal reiterated his criticism of “Delhi-based parties” on Friday, stating that their goal was to “capture Punjab in the same manner as was done by the East India Company.” Additionally, Badal spoke with Christians and denounced efforts to “polarize votes through communal speeches.”

After meeting with lawyers, Sukhbir addressed the media at the Bathinda district administrative complex in Punjab. He stated that Punjabis must unite to “save Punjab from Delhi-based parties,” who are primarily focused on gaining seats and have little regard for the state of the province. Worse, according to him, the surveys were divisive.
