Under the guise of orchestra, a case of sex trade with minor girls has come to light in Dhangai of Bikramganj. These girls were kept locked in a room. The matter came to light when one of these minor girls escaped and reached Patna with the help of an organization. On reaching Patna, the girl was presented before the Child Welfare Committee.
On the statement of the girl child, the child welfare committee wrote a letter to SSP Patna and ordered to register an FIR. In view of the seriousness of the matter, ADG Anil Yadav of the weaker section took immediate action and sent a rescue team to Rohtas.
9 girls were rescued
When the police reached the spot, the teenager's 12-year-old younger sister was murdered. Police have rescued 9 girls from here. Of these, 6 are minors. The rescued girls are from Muzaffarpur, Rohtas and Raxaul. They have been kept in the shelter home.
5 arrested including female broker
On seeing the police who came to raid, everyone started running from there. The police have arrested Shankar Nat, Gopal Nat, Vikas and Sonu along with broker Rekha Devi. Police has lodged an FIR in Vikramganj police station under sections of poxo, murder, human trafficking and kidnapping.

SP Bina Kumari of Weaker Sections said that on July 19, information was received from the Child Welfare Committee that a woman named Rekha Devi gets sex trade with minor girls under the guise of orchestra. On the basis of the information, an overnight raid was conducted on July 19. The girls have been rescued by forming a rescue team. At the same time, raids are being conducted to arrest the other accused.
