In Khagaria, Bihar, a vehicle and a tractor crash, killing nine people, including three children

Khagaria: On Monday morning in the Khagaria district of Bihar, a jeep carrying nine passengers—three of them children—collised head-on with a tractor, resulting in six further injuries and the death of up to nine individuals.
The senior officer said that the two cars crashed head-on at about 6:30 am at a gas pump on National Highway 31 in the Pasraha district.

The victims were on their way back from the wedding.
“When the accident occurred, the people inside the jeep were on their way back from a wedding. There was too much on the tractor. The jeep’s occupants perished at the scene of the collision,” he stated.

For medical attention, every wounded person has been sent to the hospital right away.

Deaths occurred in the jeep.
Gautam Thakur, 32, Monu Kumar, 7, Aman, 25, Bunty, Anshu, 23, Paltu, 50, Dilo Kimar, 10, Prakash Singh, and Dharmendra Sharma were the names of the dead. All of the dead, according to the authorities, were in the vehicle.

“An investigation is underway,” said Chandan Kushwaha, superintendent of police. The corpses are being transferred to be examined post-mortem.”
