Son of Bihar police officer found dead in Bokaro

Bokaro: On Tuesday, the decomposing corpse of a 35-day-missing Bihar police inspector’s kid was discovered in a sewer close to the Bokaro train station. The dead have been identified as 27-year-old Sunny Ranjan Ghoshal, the son of inspector Rakhi Ghoshal of the Bihar police.

The mangled corpse was found next to the railway out yard by Balidih police, the Railway Protection Force, and the Government Railway Police.

The deceased had gone to the Petarwar block in the Bokaro district on March 17 to sit the JPSC test, according to Rajkumar Sao, the in-charge RPF officer. He was supposed to catch the Maurya Express at the Bokaro railway station after the test. He contacted his mother before boarding to tell her he was anxious. He said that after turning off his phone later that evening, he did not make it home.

Rakhi visited Bokaro many times, but she was never able to find her son. Rakhi later reported her kid missing to the GRP on March 24, and Bokaro SP Pujya Prakash gave her the assurance that her son will be found. According to Sao, workers discovered the corpse while trimming shrubs and called for help. Despite the body’s disintegration, he might be recognized by his clothing. He still has his pocketbook and other belongings. Following identification, his maternal uncle came and took custody of the corpse, according to Sao.
