The new BMW iX1 is anticipated to be on sale for the Indian market in October from German carmaker BMW Deutsche Motoren. The ICE model X1 that was introduced in India earlier this year will serve as the foundation for the BMW iX1. In India, BMW has sold four electric vehicles. In India, the brand now sells the i4 car, iX SUV, and i7 limousine. The BMW iX1 would likely cost between Rs 60 and Rs 65 lakhs, making it the least expensive EV the company offers in India. BMW iX1 – Design
Exterior styling for the iX1 is anticipated to be quite similar to that of the X1, with several key distinctions, including a sealed-off front end with BMW’s recognizable twin-kidney fake grille, revised LED headlights, and modernized alloy wheels. Blue accents will also draw attention to the exterior’s electrified nature.

BMW iX1 – Powertrain
It is believed that the front-wheel drive (FWD) xDrive30m fully equipped edition of the BMW iX1 for India would be offered. A 64.78 kWh lithium-ion battery will power its single motor, giving it a range of up to 475 kilometers on a single charge. 250 Nm of torque and 201 horsepower of peak output are anticipated from the motor.

The iX1 will most likely come with an 11kW AC charger from BMW as standard equipment. It will take this charger 6.5 hours to completely charge the battery from empty to 100%. The car’s battery will also enable DC fast charging up to 130kW, enabling a 29-minute charge from 10% to 80%. The BMW iX1 is anticipated to sprint from 0 to 100 kmph in a little over 8.6 seconds in terms of performance.
