Ducati India Unveils New Black Panigale V2 Livery; Reservations Are Now Available

Ducati India has debuted a new black-on-black livery for its Panigale V2 motorbike.

Currently, the Italian company is taking reservations for the new color scheme. However, the cost will be disclosed to HT Auto later this month. In contrast, the Panigale V2 with the Ducati Red color scheme costs Rs 20.68 lakh ex-showroom.

Other than a new color scheme, the motorcycle is exactly the same. The new black-on-black livery seems to have even more aggressive flair and strength at first sight.

It still runs on a 955 cc L-twin engine made by Ducati and dubbed Superquadro. It generates 104 Nm of peak torque at 9,000 rpm and 152 horsepower of maximum power at 10,750 rpm. Ducati Quick Shift, a six-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch that allows for bidirectional quickshifting, is fitted to the gearbox in use.

The Panigale Twin has contemporary electronics that make it both high-performance and comfortable on the road and track, together with a straightforward design with clean lines.

The Ducati Panigale V2 has a single-piece, one-sided swingarm and an aluminum monocoque frame. Moreover, it is supported by completely adjustable 43 mm Showa BPF forks, with a fully adjustable Sachs unit at the rear.

Pirelli Diablo Rosso Corsa II tires are mounted on 17-inch alloy wheels with five spokes. The two 320 mm semi-floating discs that are radially mounted are grabbed by the Brembo Monobloc M4.32 4-piston callipers at the front and the 245 mm disc with the two-piston callipers at the rear.

The rider’s 4.3-inch TFT color screen provides all the features they need to view the information that matters. The safety net also includes the riding modes, power modes, Ducati Wheelie Control (DWC) EVO, Engine Brake Control (EBC) EVO, auto tire calibration, and Ducati Traction Control (DTC) EVO 2.

On the other hand, Sachs steering dampers, auto-off indicators, and full LED lighting with Daytime Running Light (DRL) are all standard on Ducati vehicles. The Ducati Data Analyser (DDA) with GPS module, Ducati Multimedia System (DMS), and anti-theft features are available for purchase, should the client so choose.
