Birinchi, Himabas, Nibir, and Puhor were jobless individuals who resided in Mulukgaon, a remote hamlet in the Dibrugarh region of Assam. The biggest solar battery charging station in the nation was established in 2016 by The Art of Living, thanks to a major partnership with Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal’s MPLAD fund. This innovative project, which may power 287 homes, came at a crucial juncture for the hamlet. In addition, these four people received training and were given management responsibilities, which made the system sustainable in the long run.
