In May 2023, Toyota will sell 20,000+ units in India, reporting its highest monthly sales ever
Over the previous several months, Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has seen a respectable amount of sales. The brand had its highest-ever monthly cumulative sales of 20,410 units for May 2023, according to the firm, which also announced a gain of 110 percent compared to the same month last year.
The four-wheeler manufacturer said that in the previous month, its feature-rich Cruiser Hyryder sold 1,9379 units domestically and 1031 units abroad. In the midst of this, TKM sold 15,510 of the SUV in April of this year, a 32 percent increase. The company also had significant success, selling 82,763 units in the first five months of the calendar year 2023 (January-May), up 42 percent over the same period the previous year, when it only managed to sell 58,505 units.
Comment from the company’s vice president of sales
The company’s Vice President of Sales and Strategic Marketing, Atul Sood, commented on the upward trend by stating that last month saw an all-time high monthly sales performance due to the sale of 20,410 units. He said that the brand is eager to keep up the present pace.
According to Sood, the recent introductions of the Urban Cruiser Hyryder, Innova Hycross, and Hilux, which support the strong sales momentum in their respective sectors, illustrate the company’s customer alignment and ever-growing product appeal. Because of its adaptability and reliable performance, the Hilux in particular continues to gain popularity and thrill consumers across India, according to the company’s VP of sales.
