JPMorgan CEO Jamie Dimon says that PM Modi is doing a “amazing job” in India and that “we need a little of that in the US.”

The CEO of IJPMorgan Chase, Jamie Dimon, commended Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the work of his administration, calling it a “unbelievable job” that has resulted in a “unbelievable infrastructure and education system” for India. Additionally, he said that the US needs a “little of that.”

“Modi has done an unbelievable job in India,” Jamie Dimon said on Tuesday at an event hosted by the Economic Club of New York. 400 million people have been lifted out of poverty by him. We’ll give Modi a hard time about the 400 million people who lack access to bathrooms. We are giving them instructions on what to do.

Additionally, he said that 700 million Indians had established bank accounts. The remitted payments are being processed. India has an incredible educational system. Amazing facilities. They are improving their whole nation because PM Modi is a strong guy.

He said that Modi was “tough” for dismantling antiquated bureaucratic structures and that “we need a little bit more of that here (in the US).”.

“Every citizen may be identified by their hand, eye, or finger. They have 700 million bank accounts. The biggest US lender has been led by Dimon for more than 18 years. “Their transferred payments are going through,” Dimon added.

Regarding the US, Dimon issued a warning about inflation, national debt, and the economic effects of geopolitical wars. He stated that inflation may persist longer than anticipated, bringing with it higher interest rates.

In addition, he advocated for more inclusive economic development and a more cordial relationship between lenders and regulators.

Along with these policy topics, Dimon spoke on political division, US military might, and the country’s economic standing in relation to other nations. “I hope practitioners return to the government,” Dimon said.
