Launch Rumors for the OnePlus Pad 2 Tablet: What to Expect

After making a great debut last year, the OnePlus Pad showed its mettle, and the company now seems prepared to release the Pad 2 edition later in 2024. The OnePlus Pad 2 is anticipated to provide even better performance since, according to sources, it will be powered by the greatest hardware currently available for Android devices—the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 CPU.

Although the MediaTek Dimensity chipset that powered the first-generation OnePlus Pad wasn’t bad either, switching to the Snapdragon 8 Gen family will be a first for both the brand and the tablet market as a whole.

The software on Android tablets has improved over the last year or two, but it still seems like a work in progress, which is consistent with how Android has operated in the market for many years. Its main obstacle is iPads, and Apple keeps providing us with an environment that allows the iPad to operate in unison with both an iPhone and a Mac.

With Android tablets, you can’t claim the same thing unless you concentrate on a single brand. With the release of the Pixel Tablet last year, Google hopes to capitalize on the resurgence of Android tablets and help companies such as OnePlus.

The Pad 2’s features have seen significant enhancements, but we still don’t know a much about it. The Pad 2 may cost considerably more than the Rs 40,000 OnePlus Pad, since the name hasn’t been officially verified.

In other OnePlus news, the firm is having problems with Indian merchants. As a result, the brand has to step in and resolve the issue, failing which it may be forced to forego a complete ban on sales in the nation starting in May of this year.
