Maps provided by ICICI Bank incorrect users of 17,000 credit cards

On Thursday, ICICI Bank said that about 17,000 newly issued credit cards had been incorrectly associated with the incorrect people across digital platforms.

Nonetheless, the second-biggest lender in the private sector said that no reports of abuse resulting from the mistake had been made, and it also pledged to reimburse consumers for any monetary losses.

A bank representative said, “We have discovered that approximately 17,000 newly issued credit cards were mistakenly assigned to the incorrect individuals through our digital channels in the last few days.”
