Pulse smartphone series is unveiled by Nokia phone manufacturer HMD

The first group in its self-branded range, the Pulse series, has been revealed by HMD Global, the brand licensee of Nokia mobile phones. These three devices—the Pulse, Pulse Plus, and Pulse Pro—are designed to appeal to both budget-conscious consumers and those looking for affordable, easily repairable, and eco-friendly options.
HMD Pulse: €140 gets a 13MP camera and a 90Hz display.
The entry-level HMD Pulse model, which costs €140 (about Rs 12,000), has a 6.65-inch LCD display with a 20:9 aspect ratio, 720p+ resolution, and a smooth refresh rate of 90Hz.

The Unisoc T606 chipset, a 12nm octa-core CPU with two Cortex-A75 cores and six Cortex-A55 cores, together with a Mali-G57 MP1 GPU, powers the Pulse’s internal components. Memory choices include 64GB of internal storage that can be expanded to 256GB with a microSD card slot and 4GB or 6GB of RAM.
Along with a depth sensor, the Pulse has a 13MP main camera with autofocus and a dual-LED flash. A punch-hole cutout holds an 8MP front-facing camera, which is great for selfie lovers.

50MP camera HMD Pulse Plus; quick charging available for an additional €60
About Rs 14,000, or €160, is the price of the HMD Pulse Plus. The standard model’s display, processor, and RAM choices are retained, but it has a 50MP main camera on the back, which should boost picture quality and detail.
The Pulse Plus keeps the same 8MP front-facing camera as its brother, albeit with an upgraded camera on the back. This variant has a 5,000mAh battery capacity and enables 20W rapid charging, much as the Pulse.
HMD Pulse Pro: €180 gets you two 50MP cameras, quick charging, and more memory.
Top of the list is the HMD Pulse Pro, which costs €180 (about Rs 16,000). This version is still equipped with the same 6.65-inch 90Hz display, Unisoc T606 chipset, and 5,000mAh battery as its brothers.
But the Pulse Pro stands out because to its 50MP front-facing camera. It has the same 2MP depth sensor and 50MP main camera on the back as the Pulse Plus.
A few more features are also included with the Pulse Pro, including 20W rapid charging and an enhanced memory configuration with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
Common attributes Sustainability and reparability
A unifying theme throughout all HMD Pulse models is the focus on sustainability and repairability. Because HMD built these devices with “Gen 1 repairability,” customers may change the screen and battery on their own and execute other self-repairs using self-repair kits from iFixit.
The 5,000mAh battery is designated as “QuickFix replaceable,” allowing consumers to quickly replace it at home with basic equipment in around five minutes. It is rated for 800 full charge cycles. If the instructions are strictly followed, the IP52 classification for dust and water protection is also maintained even after the battery is replaced.
While the HMD Pro will soon be available, the HMD Pulse and Pulse Plus may be purchased at HMD.com as of right now. HMD will only sell one model in the US market, the $150 “HMD Vibe,” which seems to be based on the Pulse variation.
