Ratan Tata is honored with the esteemed KISS Humanitarian Award

On Monday, the renowned KISS Humanitarian Award 2021 was given to Ratan Tata, Chairman Emeritus of the Tata Group and a well-known entrepreneur and philanthropist.

His Mumbai home served as the venue for the award ceremony, which was a noteworthy acknowledgment of his dedication to social development and model business leadership.

Among the guests at the event were three-time Grammy Award winner Ricky Kej and N Chandrasekaran, chairman of the Tata Group.

Achyuta Samanta, the founder of KISS and KIIT, gave the prize. Tata has been avoiding public appearances due to health issues, which is why the event was planned in secret at his house.

Normally reluctant to accept praise, Ratan Tata consented to receiving this award when Achyuta Samanta made a personal appeal, demonstrating the significance of the KISS humanitarian award.

The Covid epidemic prevented Tata from receiving the prize when it was announced in 2021.

Tata thanked KISS and its creator, saying, “I am really honored to be given this recognition. The most important time in my life is right now.

In India, Ratan Tata is a highly respected name. I have been influenced by his leadership and social work since I was a little kid. It is a delight for us to be able to honor him with this award today, Achyuta Samanta said.

The KISS Humanitarian Award, which was founded in 2008 by Samanta, is the highest honor bestowed by KIIT and KISS and is intended to honor people and organizations who best represent the humanitarian spirit around the globe.
