Realme C65 5G: Initial thoughts

The Realme C65 5G is now available. It is among the reasonably priced 5G smartphones that are on the market. With a 5000 mAh battery, the smartphone is the first to use the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor. The reasonably priced Realme smartphone promises to function well and has a 50MP primary camera. Here are our first thoughts after using the smartphone for a while.

The Realme C65 5G has an attractive, sophisticated design that gives it a high-end appearance. The low-cost smartphone has a back panel and flat screen. The silver ribbon that encircles the smartphone has a smooth feel and is pleasant to grip. The smartphone has a feather-like texture and a smooth, flat display on the back. A circular camera module with a dual camera system is located on the back of the smartphone. The power button and volume rockers are located on the right side, while the USB Type C charging port and 3.5mm audio jack are located on the bottom. At the top is where the SIM card tray is found. Many will be impressed by the lightweight smartphone’s design.

With a resolution of 720×1604 pixels, the 6.67-inch HD+ display on the Realme C65 5G smartphone. The screen has a dynamic refresh rate of up to 120 Hz and a maximum brightness level of 625 nits. The Realme C65 5G is renowned for its Rainwater Smart Touch function, which uses screen scanning data to detect the presence of water on the hands or screen. It uses an algorithm to eliminate accidental touches, improving touch input accuracy and the user experience overall. The smartphone also has a bright and colorful display.

Hardware and software: The company’s first smartphone running on the new MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor is the Realme C65 5G. With a clock speed of up to 2.4GHz and cutting-edge 6nm manufacturing technology, this CPU reaches an astounding AnTuTu benchmark score of more than 400k. According to the figures, the smartphone will operate smoothly and without latency. While we haven’t tested the smartphone’s full functionality yet, our first testing revealed that it operated well. Three versions of the Realme C65 5G are available: 4GB+64GB, 4GB+128GB, and 6GB+128GB. The 5000 mAh battery powering the smartphone supports 15W rapid charging. We haven’t yet assessed the device’s battery life or charging speed, however.

The Realme UI layer is an overlay on top of the Android 14 operating system that powers the Reame C65 5G. Also, the manufacturer guarantees that the smartphone will get two years of security upgrades and three years of operating system updates. Although some bloatware is included, the user interface (UI) looks rather slick and may not be to everyone’s taste. The app drawer, which keeps the home screen clear of clutter, is a feature that makes up for it. To get a thorough evaluation of the program, we recommend that you wait for our next review.

The 50MP primary camera of the Realme C65 5G has a Samsung JN1 sensor and an f/1.8 aperture. There is an 8MP selfie camera on the front. We were pleased with the smartphone’s camera capabilities during our first testing in strong daylight. The photos that were taken showed outstanding detail and vibrant color reproduction. Moreover, the front camera produced excellent results as well.

What we believe is the starting pricing of Rs 10,499 for the Realme C65 5G. It is a reasonably priced smartphone with a nice appearance and a respectable list of features. If you like the design of Realme smartphones and would want to have one of your own, you may choose this one.
