The Sexual Harassment Commission’s Chair, Dr. Anchal Gupta, has been announced by the STAIRS Foundation

The prestigious National Sports Promotion Organization dedicated to grassroots sports development in India, the Society for Transformation, Inclusion, and Recognition through Sports (STAIRS) Foundation, is pleased to announce Dr. Anchal Gupta’s nomination as Chairperson of its Sexual Harassment Commission.

As the creator of the Netram Eye Foundation and a skilled ophthalmologist, Dr. Anchal Gupta brings to her new position a wealth of medical knowledge as well as a strong dedication to community welfare. It is anticipated that under her direction, the commission’s efforts to maintain a dignified, courteous, and safe atmosphere for all parties—especially kids, young athletes, and female employees—will be further strengthened.

Dr. Gupta hopes to reinforce the commission’s protective structure by drawing on her extensive knowledge of healthcare and volunteer work. Her aim is to establish a climate of safety and dignity so that each member of the STAIRS community feels respected and safe.

I’m dedicated to enforcing a zero-tolerance policy against sexual harassment and fostering moral behavior in all of our community’s interactions.”

In her capacity as Chair of the STAIRS Foundation’s Sexual Harassment Commission, Dr. Anchal Gupta is essential to directing the organization’s successful anti-sexual harassment initiatives. Creating and executing thorough rules and procedures to stop and deal with sexual harassment in all STAIRS programs is one of her duties. Dr. Gupta is also in charge of making sure the commission offers frequent training and awareness campaigns to promote a culture of decency and respect, which is necessary for a secure work environment.
