Court objects to the head of the IMA’s interview

The Indian Medical Association (IMA) head, Dr. R Asokan, was warned on Tuesday by the Supreme Court of “serious consequences” for his purported remarks against the organization made in a media interview.

Put it in writing. This will be a more significant event than what has occurred so far. Senior attorney Mukul Rohatgi brought attention to Dr. Asokan’s remarks, and a bench of Justices Hima Kohli and Ahsanuddin Amanullah warned him, “Be prepared for more serious consequences.”

Rohatgi, who was defending co-founders of Patanjali Ayurved Swami Ramdev and Acharya Balkrishna, stated: “I came across a very unsettling interview yesterday where the president of the IMA explained why the court is criticizing us.” This directly interferes with the court’s ability to operate. He claims that the Supreme Court should not have made these regrettable and ambiguous remarks.
