The voice actor comments on the cancellation of the “James Bond Trevor” DLC for Grand Theft Auto 5

Steven Ogg, the voice actor for Trevor Philips in the well-known game Grand Theft Auto 5, has disclosed that he “shot some stuff” for a DLC that would have carried on the character’s exploits in the game. Trevor would have carried on serving as an FBI undercover agent in this DLC pack.

The proposal, according to Ogg, “just disappeared and [Rockstar] never followed up on it.”
2013 saw the debut of GTA 5, and a year later, Rockstar said that “some very exciting” narrative DLC was in the works for the popular open-world game.

But the firm, owned by Take Two Interactive, could have abandoned such ideas after concentrating on the very successful GTA Online. Furthermore, Rockstar has never formally disclosed any information on the release date or specifics of their GTA 5-story DLC.
The voice actors in GTA 5 discussed the DLC expansion.
The voice actors that recorded the voices of GTA 5 playable characters, Michael de Santa (who portrayed Ned Luke), Shawn Fonteno (who played Franklin Clinton), and Steven Ogg, made an appearance during a Q&A livestream held by Streamily (discovered by Eurogamer). Rockstar is is “originally going to do the continuing stories of Michael, Franklin, and Trevor,” according to the performers.

Ogg stated: “We also had that really cool shit of where Trevor was going to be undercover; he works for the Feds, and I forget if it was DLC; I have no idea.” We also shot a few of those scenes with “James Bond Trevor.” Although he’s still not quite right, he’s trying his hardest. We took some footage, but it vanished without a trace, and they never bothered to investigate.”
Additionally, according to Eurogamer, Ogg’s remarks align with datamined source code dumps from 2023 that indicated additional DLCs for Grand Theft Auto 5 were planned. “Agent Trevor” was the moniker bestowed on one of them.
Rockstar officially unveiled the first trailer for Grand Theft Auto 6, a game that is scheduled to release in 2025, in December 2023.
