The LPG commercial cylinder price reduction, which will be felt in Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, and Chennai, is a welcome diversion from the significant increase of Rs 101.5 per cylinder that occurred just before Diwali.

The 19-kg commercial LPG cylinder would cost Rs 1,775.5 in New Delhi, Rs 1,885.5 in Kolkata, Rs 1,728 in Mumbai, and Rs 1,942 in Chennai, according to the updated pricing.

Domestic LPG Rates Stay the Same

The cost of home LPG cylinders has not changed nationwide, despite a decrease in the cost of commercial LPG.

For the second time in the previous two months, the ONCs increased the cost of commercial LPG cylinders earlier this month at a number of locations around the nation. Note that on the first of every month, the pricing of LPG cylinders, both residential and commercial, are revised.

It’s noteworthy to note that companies like hotels and restaurants who rely extensively on LPG for cooking are anticipated to have less hardship as a result of the anticipated decrease in the price of commercial LPG cylinders.

The retail cost of a 19-kg commercial LPG gas cylinder in Delhi increased by Rs 101 on November 1 to Rs 1833 per cylinder.

The price of 19 KG commercial LPG gas cylinders was increased by Rs 209 by public sector oil and gas companies on October 1. This price modification comes after that first increase.

The revised price in Delhi is now Rs 1731.50 as a consequence of this modification, up from Rs 1522.50 from the previous month.

Similar price hikes were seen in other important cities: for a 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder, Kolkata paid Rs 1839.50, Mumbai Rs 1684.00, and Chennai Rs 1898.00.

Business owners are quite worried about the price increases, especially retailers and restauranteurs. Concerns about inflation have been there for some time, and the recent rise in the cost of commercial LPG cylinders only makes matters worse.

These days, store owners are pressuring the government to act to curb inflation and lessen the financial strain on startups.
