Watch: Mahindra Hints At New Features For The Upcoming XUV 3XO Before Its Global Release

Mahindra has released yet another teaser for the XUV 3XO ahead of its global debut on April 29. This has increased anticipation for the vehicle.

The sub-four-meter SUV has already created a lot of attention; some dealerships have even begun taking unofficial reservations.

A prominent characteristic of the XUV 3XO is shown in the teaser: a remote temperature control functionality that can be accessed via Mahindra’s AdrenoX-connected vehicle technology.

Although several rivals have comparable functions, the XUV 3XO will be the first in its class to combine this capability with a dual-zone device.Users will be able to operate the rear and front defoggers using the app.

Car Wale reports that Mahindra has said these amenities would probably only be available on a few models, maybe only the top-spec vehicle.

Other anticipated features of the XUV 3XO include ventilated front seats, premium music, a 10.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system, projector LED headlights and fog lamps, a panoramic sunroof, and an instrument console.

Along with six airbags, an electronic stability program, and traction control, excellent safety features are also anticipated.

The addition of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) to higher-spec versions has also given rise to rumors.

The XUV 3XO’s existing powertrain lineup, which consists of a 1.5-liter diesel engine with 115 horsepower, a 1.2-liter turbocharged petrol engine with 109 horsepower, and a higher-spec 1.2-liter T-GDI mStallion turbocharged petrol engine with 128 horsepower, is probably going to stay in place.

Six-speed manual and six-speed automatic transmissions are anticipated, with the potential of a 6-speed torque converter automatic from Aisin.

Previous teasers have alluded to the SUV’s updated appearance, which includes a new grille and headlamp design, a full-width lightbar feature at the back, and a modified front fascia with C-shaped LED DRLs.

Similar to the updated XUV400 Pro, the XUV 3XO is anticipated to have a redesigned interior with new control surfaces, a panoramic sunroof, lighter upholstery, and a three-point seatbelt for the center rear passenger. It will also likely include a huge touchscreen at the top of the remodeled center console.

In the sub-four-meter SUV class, the Mahindra XUV 3XO will go up against well-known vehicles like the Tata Nexon, Maruti Brezza, Hyundai Venue, and Kia Sonet.
