A complaint was filed against Tamil producer KE Gnanavel Raja about his maid’s attempted suicide

The daughter of KE Gnanavel Raja’s maid has filed a lawsuit against him, alleging that he wrongly accused her mother of stealing, which caused her to try suicide. The Indian Express said that the police are now looking into the allegations made by Lakshmi’s (the maid) daughter and have filed a complaint against KE Gnanavel Raja.

KE Gnanavel Raja recently accused his maid Lakshmi of stealing from their T Nagar, Chennai, home after his wife Neha’s gold jewelry vanished. The producer suspected his housemaid Lakshmi of being involved in the crime and filed a complaint with the Mambalam police.

Lakshmi denied any involvement and said she hadn’t removed the missing jewels when questioned by the police. The police have asked Lakshmi to make herself available for further interrogation as necessary, notwithstanding her denial. Lakshmi, distraught about the charges made against her, tried to end her life by eating pulverized Arali seeds. She was saved, thankfully, onlookers acting quickly, and she was treated at Chennai Royapettah Government Hospital after that.
The authorities are now investigating the complaint that producer KE Gnanavel Raja was sued by Lakshmi’s daughter.

In the meanwhile, well-known Kollywood producer KE Gnanavel Raja is the next to provide funding for “Kanguva.”
