A woman identifying herself as an actress The Bombay High Court is moved by Ravi Kishan’s second wife to overturn the FIR: Report

Actor Ravi Kishan’s purported second wife, 54-year-old Aparna Soni, has filed a lawsuit in the Bombay High Court. She wants to have a FIR against her dismissed from the Hazratganj police station in Lucknow, which was submitted by Kishan’s wife, Preeti Shukla, who accused her of rape and extortion.
Along with her husband Rajesh Soni and daughter Shinova, Aparna refuted the accusations in the FIR, backed by attorney Ashok M. Saraogi.

They contend that the charges are baseless and motivated by malice, amounting to an abuse of the judicial system.
According to the FIR, Aparna threatened to falsely accuse Ravi Kishan of rape in exchange for ₹20 crore. Aparna refutes these accusations, claiming that she did not engage in extortion or any other illegal conduct when she informed Ravi Kishan about Shinova’s biological tie. They further argue that it is dubious that the FIR has jurisdiction in Lucknow, given that the people implicated are Mumbai residents.

The goal of the FIR, according to Aparna’s legal team, is to prevent them from defending Shinova’s rights as Kishan’s biological daughter. They believe that the FIR is retaliatory by highlighting Aparna’s earlier legal activities in Mumbai’s City Civil Court, which sought to establish Shinova’s rights.
Aparna is requesting the intervention of the Bombay High Court to nullify the FIR, noting its lack of substance and improper use of legal processes. She also asks for the FIR’s ongoing processes to be stopped. In its next session, the court is anticipated to discuss the quashing of the FIR as well as the paternity issue.
