Arjun Mathur remembers the “fateful road trip” that claimed his mother’s life.
No amount of time will ever fully replace the gap left by the death of a parent; nothing can make up for it. The actor Arjun Mathur, who lost his mother permanently 29 years ago, suffered the same grief again on April 22.

He published numerous old photos of his beloved “maa” on social media on the anniversary of her passing, which brought back many happy memories for him.

“The wounds have healed,” he said, sharing the photos. The hurt intensifies. and approaches me in ways I never would have thought possible. Today is 29 years since that tragic road trip. I’ll never forget the tune we were singing just before the Maruti 1000 skidded off the ghat; it still bothers me to this day.

He said in his post that each day that goes by, the pain of losing her becomes worse. He also said that he lost his mother when their Maruti 1000 vehicle fell down a ghat decades ago when they were traveling. The actor from Made in Heaven revealed his discharge folio online, revealing that he was just 15 years old in 1995 when the tragedy occurred.

Soon after the actor uploaded the image, a lot of people expressed their sympathy for him in the comments section. Farhan Akhtar, an actor and director, gave Arjun a “big hug,” while actors Sanjay Kapoor and Rasika Dugal exchanged a red heart emoji. His co-stars Sobhita Dhulipala, Zoya Akhtar, Arjun Kapoor, Dia Mirza, and several more celebrities supported him as well.
