Anil Dhawan on what annoys him the most when people discuss his path in Bollywood

Anil Dhawan has entered the OTT market as well and is anticipating a few launches this year. The actor, who has been actively involved in the film industry for a few decades, has also made artistic contributions to television. In the past, he starred in movies such Himmatwala (2013), Hero No. 1 (1997), Hogi Pyaar Ki Jeet (1999), and Shola Aur Shabnam (1992).Afterwards, he returned with Andhadhun (2018), which helped him acquire fame once again.

He gets annoyed when people discuss his lack of appearances in movies, even if he appreciates all the accolades when they discuss his path in Bollywood. He continues, “I like that people still think well of me and like me.” On the other hand, there are instances when things published about me irritate me. They claim that I am an actress who had a successful career before going missing. For what reason would they say that? I’ve been working so hard for years. In addition, how can people overlook my 20 years of acting experience in the television industry? TV programs that Anil has appeared in include Parampara (1993), Kkusum (2003), Meet: Badlegi Duniya Ki Reet (2021), Main Lakshmi Tere Aangan Ki (2011), and Bhagyalaxmi (2015).

“I should slow down too, na. I have done a lot of work,” he adds. I achieved my goal. I am a very content individual. I didn’t regret a thing since I gave it all I had. When I was at my best, I worked on some of the best films—a lot of family dramas and the type of job that fulfilled me. Because I have developed such strong relationships with the individuals I have worked with, I am the happiest person I have ever been.

He continues by discussing how the business has changed over time and how difficult it is to make a living in show business. Anil, the uncle of Varun Dhawan, whose granddaughter Anjini is preparing for her Bollywood debut, says, “In this day and age, a performer would still have two successful films fail back-to-back. But in the modern day, producers won’t invest in you if your movie doesn’t succeed. It’s not that simple. Now it’s a dangerous affair.
