Bobby Berk leaves “Queer Eye,” and Jeremiah Brent replaces him

The acclaimed Netflix makeover series “Queer Eye” is getting ready for its ninth season, and the Fab Five will have a new member. It has been announced that Jeremiah Brent, an interior designer, is the newest member of the dynamic team, taking over for Bobby Berk, who is leaving. With this news, the streaming behemoth confirmed Brent’s position alongside Tan France, Jonathan Van Ness, Karamo Brown, and Antoni Porowski.

Due in large part to his participation on HGTV’s “The Nate & Jeremiah Home Project” and TLC’s “Nate & Jeremiah By Design,” where he demonstrated his skills with his spouse, Nate Berkus, Brent has gained prominence in the interior design field. Their cooperative ventures outside television have resulted in the creation of many home décor collections and a co-starring role in a Banana Republic ad.

Brent has experience with Netflix, having worked as the design consultant for the show “Say I Do” in 2020. His inclusion to the “Queer Eye” cast gives the group a lot of expertise and a distinct viewpoint. Brent’s love for designing environments that emotionally connect with people is further shown by his book “The Space That Keeps You: When Home Becomes a Love Story,” which he published as his first book.

The newly released eighth season of “Queer Eye,” which is based in New Orleans, has a number of pivotal events that Berk, who announced his departure from the program last year, left behind. Fans and media sources began to speculate about possible tensions between France and Berk after he made his declaration.

Fans are excited to see the dynamic energy and genuine relationships that the Fab Five—now including Brent—will bring to the screen as filming for the new season is set to begin in Las Vegas this spring. The latest episode in the “Queer Eye” saga is eagerly anticipated, even though an official release date for Season 9 has not yet been revealed.
