Director Ali Abbas Zafar recounts how stunt shootings used to cost more than Rs 3 crore per day in Bade Miyan Chote Miyan

With Tiger Shroff and Akshay Kumar in the major parts, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan is ready to take over cinemas in five days. The action star promises incredible action sequences never before seen in Indian film. A visual spectacular unlike any other is promised in Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, with everything from lethal automobile chases to knife fights and firing arrows.

Recently, director Ali Abbas Zafar discussed how he filmed the film in authentic settings and with an old-fashioned approach to provide viewers with a memorable cinematic experience. He also discussed the enormous money that went into making the film.

The filmmaker told IANS that “the biggest pressure that actors and film makers always face is the budget because you need to spend that much money when you want your product to look classy, international, and at a level where people say it’s a visual spectacle.”

“If you want to do motorbike stunts and each bike costs Rs 4 lakh, and if the stunt goes wrong, you immediately lose Rs 4 lakh,” Zafar said, giving instances. If you blow up a vehicle that costs between Rs. 30 and 40 lakh and the stunt doesn’t work out, you immediately lose that much money.”

According to him, there are stunts in Bade Miyan Chote Miyan that cost between Rs 3 and 4 crores to do in a single day. This includes the cost of all the equipment, technicians, and choppers.

In collaboration with AAZ films, Vashu Bhagnani and Pooja Entertainment produce Bade Miyan Chote Miyan.
