Director Santosh Singh claims that the conclusion of “Ranneeti: Balakot and Beyond” was filmed inside the Serbian parliament

The Serbian parliament served as the filming location for the culmination of the forthcoming streaming series “Ranneeti: Balakot and Beyond,” starring Jimmy Shergill, Lara Dutta, Ashutosh Rana, Ashish Vidyarthi, and Prasanna. The aftermath of the Pulwama terror incident and the Indian Air Force’s retaliatory operation serve as the basis for the television series.

Santosh Singh, the show’s director, said that the series’ finale was filmed inside the Serbian parliament. He said that a significant portion of the series was filmed in Serbia and that he took inspiration from his previous experience there when shooting “Apharan 2.” He said that the story had credibility since the Serbian parliament provided the ideal setting.

“We shot extensively on all the military bases, on the air bases, in the state prison, and we shot our climax in the Serbian parliament,” the filmmaker said to IANS. For this major international council conference, where India and Pakistan are debating one other, we needed a setting that looked international. They volunteered their parliament when we were discussing possible locations for the scene to be filmed. It was very remarkable, seeming genuine and true to life. In that regard, everything seems right; they really assisted us.”

He continued by saying that it was a difficult effort to film in Serbia with the aircraft since, as a landlocked nation, Serbia must notify seven neighboring nations of its takeoff and landing altitude.

He clarified the situation by saying: “Serbia is a very small country and the aircraft is going into different countries’ airspace as soon as it takes off.” Please do not fire down any flights since we have to notify seven nations around Serbia that there is a shoot going on and that there will be unscheduled planes flying. It was a major concern as there was always a chance that an unforeseen jet might crash and be shot down.”

“We were shooting with real jets, their pilots dressed like Indian Air Force officers, and they were flying the planes,” he said. “That was another interesting aspect of shooting in the Serbian air base.” We wanted to discuss the enormous amount of preparation that went into shooting the Air Force.”

50 actual tanks from the Serbian army were used for the filming, and Serbian troops dressed as Indian Army personnel, demonstrating how seriously the series takes accuracy.

He declared: “Organizing and carrying out the shoot was very challenging. Speaking about army bases, we fired fifty actual tanks that belonged to the Serbian military. Once again, the Serbian soldiers were disguised as Indian soldiers and engaged in all required training, including operating and fighting tanks. It was an amazing event that seemed quite overpowering and unreal.”
