ICYDK: The reason Dunki FDFS was scheduled at 5.55 AM was because of Shah Rukh Khan’s Lucky Number

New Delhi: It goes without saying that fans are ecstatic that Shah Rukh Khan’s much-anticipated movie Dunki has finally arrived in theaters. On December 21, the movie’s premiere took place at Mumbai’s renowned Gaiety Galaxy at 5:55 a.m. Not only is Shah Rukh Khan’s selected time for the screening unique for him but also for his followers. A Shah Rukh Khan fan explained the importance of the 5.55 am event.

which is a first in the theater’s history: “We have been doing this since Pathaan because before that Gaiety only had 12 pm shows.” We established the custom of always pushing ourselves just a little bit farther with Pathaan. Thus, we performed a 9 p.m. concert for Pathaan before moving on to a 6 a.m. show for Jawan. “We want to do something different,” she added, adding that as fans they wanted to push the frontier even farther without “stretching it too much.” We want to go above and above. We thus decided to move the show’s start time back five minutes, from six am to five and a half am.

She did, however, disclose that there is an additional significance to the hour “5.55 am.” The admirer said, “It’s not just that we wanted to try something new—it’s also that Shah Rukh Khan’s lucky number.” The number of his automobile is similarly 555. So we reasoned, why not include it in our program? That’s how the 5.55 am program was conceived.

“They [Gaiety Galaxy] have been gracious enough to let us have the 5.55 am show and they know that if it is an SRK movie or SRK Universe organizing a show, it is bound to go houseful,” the fan said, thanking the staff for their assistance. They didn’t second-guess themselves. They are aware that Dunki would act similarly or even more because they have seen it during Pathaan and Jawan.”

Currently, pictures of fans celebrating SRK’s third release of the year are all over social media. Among the ways SRK supporters are celebrating include dancing to the dhol, throwing a Dunki Mela, setting off fireworks, and having a party in front of a massive cutout of the star’s poster.
