After a student drank vodka from her bottle, mistaking it for a cold beverage, the inebriated teaching assistant was arrested

After a pupil mistakenly mistook the middle school teaching assistant’s vodka bottle for a cool beverage, the aide was jailed and fired. Her blood alcohol content was found to be three times the permissible limit.

A WSBTV report states that the student thought her bottle was Pepsi and took a drink. After that, the kid tossed away the drink and informed another instructor, who on Thursday afternoon took the issue to the principal’s office. But the teaching assistant said that she accidentally took the bottle to the school.

The event happened at Georgia’s Morgan County Middle School. According to a New York Post article, teaching assistant Alexandra “Nicole” Lambert, 39, reportedly acknowledged that the bottle contained vodka but said that she had brought it to class by mistake.

When the Morgan County Sheriff’s officers showed up at the school at 1:15 p.m., Lambert was given a breathalyzer test, and the results showed that her blood alcohol content was 0.259.
