Although I didn’t win, I’m delighted for Aishwarya because she did, and the recognition your fraternity can provide you may be motivating. It would be unworthy of me to now whine that I should have gotten more. It’s already a win if folks say so.
“I’ve never engaged in this kind of conversation because it would appear to be a case of sour grapes,” he went on. Did I feel awful? Naturally, I did. However, the world hasn’t ended. You go to the next item. But I would have been done a long time ago as an actor and director if I gave people this much power over how I saw myself.
The actor had said how the producers attempted, but were unable, to make Aishwarya seem authentic! He also extolled the actress’s virtues, stating that she was very selfless and giving!
