In Bengaluru, actor Yash casts a ballot in the Lok Sabha elections

Actor Yash, well known for his role in “KGF,” accepted his civic responsibility by voting in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections in Bengaluru, amid the dynamic spirit of democracy.

Actor Yash made his way to the Hosakerehalli voting station wearing a bright pink blouse, white pants, and chic sunglasses. He inked his finger and left a lasting impression on the democratic process.

In the meanwhile, Rakshit Shetty, the well-known face of the Kannada film industry from “777 Charlie,” cast his ballot in Udupi, adding his voice to the chorus influencing the destiny of the country.

Karnataka is a battleground state where half of the 28 Lok Sabha seats are up for grabs in this round, making it an intense campaign. Elections in Udupi Chikamagalur, Hassan, and other seats during the first round set the scene for a political battle.

Looking back at its earlier successes, the Karnataka Lok Sabha elections of 2019 saw the BJP win 25 out of 28 seats. But this time, things are different since the BJP has given the JDS, its coalition partner, three seats. The Hassan, Mandya, and Kolar seats are evidence of this coalition.

With 88 seats up for grabs in this round, the electoral symphony extends beyond the limits of Karnataka to 13 other states and Union Territories. The democratic process continues to advance, as shown by the Election Commission’s impressive first-phase turnout of more than 62%.

With the third phase scheduled on May 7, the country is ready for the next chapter in its democratic history. The fate of the country as a whole is shaped by the values of democracy and participation as each individual gives their voice to the voting booth.
