‘It’s A Closed Set-Up, Growth Would Be Stunted,’ Aayush Sharma reveals as to why he left Salman Khan Productions

Arpita Khan, Salman Khan’s younger sister, is the wife of actor Aayush Sharma. In 2018, Aayush made his feature film debut in the romance drama Loveyatri. Salman Khan supported the movie. Salman Khan Films produced Aayush’s subsequent movie, Antim: The Final Truth, which again starred Salman. But Ruslaan is Aayush’s first project outside of his brother-in-law’s production company. Thus, Aayush was questioned about “what went wrong” between Salman and him in a recent interview.

“It is not like that, it is my house,” he stated in an interview with Bollywood Hungama. A performer never works for a single production company. To be honest, I find it hilarious, but my decisions have come up in a lot of conversations. Numerous performers have pursued careers in their comfort zones, worked for a certain production company, left, and then returned to it. My goal is to get outside, and I wanted to do so.

“I can’t continue working in a confined environment, only for my family, since it would also impede my advancement. Moving out of the family for a while to work outside the home was a deliberate choice. It was crucial for me to develop, discover who I am, and become deserving enough to be called back,” he said.

But Aayush also expressed gratitude to Salman for his opportunity, saying, “You don’t get to play such an important role in your second film, in a movie that has Salman.” He had a significant role in the movie; it wasn’t just a five to seven minute cameo. The plot centers on my character at some point in the novel. You don’t (usually) get this chance, but I did. I have to acknowledge my gratitude and realize that this is the most help I will ever get. I now have to take the trek.
