‘I’ve learned to eliminate soups and spicy meals,’ says Gulshan Devaiah of his one-meal regimen

The actor Gulshan Devaiah has discussed his unusual dietary philosophy and how he supports the “one meal a day” (OMAD) method. Additionally, he said that he has deemed spicy dishes and soups to be “not ideal.”

Gulshan stated: “Since I drink milk and sugar with my coffee and tea, the way I’ve been eating since June 2018 technically isn’t intermittent fasting (OMAD/22-hour fast).I sometimes also eat a little snack. The main course is a large meal that takes around an hour to prepare and often comprises of carbohydrates, meat, eggs, and/or vegetables.Through trial and error, I’ve discovered that hot meals and soups should be avoided since they’re not the best things to consume frequently—consistency is crucial.”

Gulshan said that he was having trouble sticking to any kind of maintenance diet, including portion control and calorie monitoring.

Additionally, I like eating, so diets are often not something I enjoy doing. Because it automatically regulates the quantities, I’ve discovered that if I eat once, I can pretty much eat anything I want. The main point is that, as I said before, it helps me remain consistent.”

Regarding his career, Gulshan will appear in Janhvi Kapoor’s action thriller “Ulajh.” He also has “Therapy Sherapy” starring Neha Dhupia and “Little Thomas” starring Rasika Dugal.
