“Deepika said, ‘Mein toh dosti mein chota sa role karne aagayi thi’. However, Atlee and I managed to dupe her into letting us shoot the whole movie with her. She was completely unaware. She felt like, “Oh, I’m one of the main characters,” when she first entered the movie. She is so sitting in this awkwardly, but Shah Rukh Khan said, “Deepika, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for being a part of this film.

Atlee shared what Jawan meant for him in the meanwhile. When asked to describe Jawan in one word, he said, “If you ask me in one word what Jawan is for me, day one when I met Mr. Shah Rukh Khan Sir and we aligned to our idea that we are gonna come together for a film, then I took a white sheet. So we used to compose love letters when we were teenagers. My “love letter” to Mr. Shah Rukh Khan is called “Jawan.”
