First Look: Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh Following Koffee With Karan Fiasco

Tuesday night was Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh’s first official public appearance, after their troll-filled Koffee With Karan episode. As the Bollywood pair visited the Jio World Plaza inauguration, they were photographed by photographers.

In a social media video, DeepVeer could be seen looking beautiful at the star-studded event while twinning in black. Wearing a body-hugging, off-the-shoulder black sparkling suit, Deepika looked as beautiful as always. Ranveer, on the other hand, looked sharp as he wore a black jacket and matching slacks instead of his shirt.

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh attended the inaugural Koffee With Karan Season 8 show last week. The Pathaan actress alluded to the fact that the two were first in an open relationship during their conversation with presenter Karan Johar. I came from bad relationships, therefore I wanted to remain alone for a time. I was going through a moment when I was saying, “I just don’t want to be committed or attached.” I also had fun! I didn’t commit until he proposed to me, and then he came along. As such, there was no commitment. We would just keep going back to each other, even if we were legally permitted to see other people,” the woman said.

Many were left wondering whether Deepika and Ranveer were in a “situationship” at first as a result of this. For the same, the pair received a lot of trolling.

Amid the mocking, Congress politician Supriya Shrinate also endorsed Deepika on Monday. She questioned everyone who was criticizing Deepika for being transparent about her connections in Karan Johar’s program on her X account. Shrinate took aim at those who were disseminating “vulgar memes” disparaging Deepika.
