“June Zero” will open in theaters on June

The next film from writer-director Jake Paltrow, “June Zero,” will be released in theaters by Cohen Media Group on June 28 in New York, July 5 in Los Angeles, and July 12 worldwide. Miranda Bailer, David Silber, and Oren Moverman are supporting the movie.

‘June Zero’ stars Koby Adere, Adam Gabay, and Tzahi Grad in the key parts. The 1962 trial, conviction, and death of Adolf Eichmann—a pivotal player in the Holocaust—are the subject of the film. Jake Paltrow, the director, claims to provide a novel interpretation of this important occasion. Three unique characters—Eichmann’s jail guard, a Holocaust survivor who serves as an investigator, and an inquisitive teenage immigrant from Libya—tell the narrative.

June Zero, a 16mm film shot in Israel and the Ukraine, examines the significant effects of the Eichmann trial from the unique perspectives of its protagonists. The movie explores the emotional impact of the trial and shows how terrible circumstances may bond people in unexpected ways and spur spurts of resiliency. Paltrow is producing her first work in a foreign language. He and Tom Shoval co-wrote the Hebrew script for the movie.

“June Zero” had its US premiere at the New York Jewish Film Festival at Lincoln Center. It was also an official selection at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival, Deauville American Film Festival, Jerusalem Film Festival, Atlanta Jewish Film Festival, Miami Jewish Film Festival, and JxJ Washington Jewish Film Festival.
