‘Junooniyatt’ Actress Palak Jain claims she has similarities to her character Seerat

Actress Palak Jain, who has appeared in serials including “Veer Shivaji” and “Sunaina – Mera Sapna Sach Hua,” has joined the cast of “Junooniyatt,” a Hindi-Punjabi romance drama series created by Ravi Dubey and Sargun Mehta.

The actress who plays Seerat in the show remarked that she can identify to the character very well since she thinks that there is some resemblance between her and herself.

This was further explained by her when she added, “While playing Seerat, I have noticed certain parallels, such as producing humour and spreading smiles around me, which is something I do in real life. Like Seerat, I always pay attention to what my mother has to say. I never question what she says to me since it is always definitive. To me, she is everything.

I take a position for what is right and wrong, just like Seerat. I would battle against someone making a phone call in a hospital line in my very first scene, exactly as Seerat did’, the actress said.

She described herself as “full of life, blunt, straightforward, yet soft-hearted,” in describing Seerat. She opposes wrongdoing and doesn’t put up with injustice of any kind. She is weak, much like the girls of today, but she also understands when to speak out. She just returned from Canada after studying abroad and is free-spirited.

Speaking on her first time working with the show’s producers, she stated, “Sargun ma’am, Ravie sir, and Dreamiyata always create magic when they are onscreen. This is the first time I’m working with them. Although I haven’t got the opportunity, I truly want to meet them.

“I’m thrilled to be a part of this really loving and passionate event. I sobbed in my green room after performing my very first scene because I was so overjoyed and moved. The act of portraying Seerat was sheer bliss.

The show, which broadcasts on JioCinema and was created and co-produced by Ravi Dubey and Sargun Mehta in collaboration with Dreamiyata Productions, features Ankit Gupta, Gautam Vig, Neha Rana, and Rinku Ghosh in significant parts.
