Neeru Bajwa Claims ‘Professionalism’ Is Missing From Punjabi Film Industry: We have no intention of leaving. Need To…”

Neeru Bajwa, a Punjabi actress, is getting ready for her next movie, Shayar. Actor, singer, and lyricist Satinder Sartaaj also features in the movie. Neeru recently discussed her experience in the Punjabi film business as well as her most recent production in an interview.

Neeru addressed the one area in which the Punjabi film industry needs development. “Professionalism,” the Indian Express cited her as saying. We also need to work on ourselves a great deal. I adore my field and the people in it, but we won’t advance until we become professionals. We still have a long way to go.

“It has been a beautiful journey,” Neeru remarked, looking back on her career. I love Punjabi movies so much because it’s home. I saw the annual rise every year. Although I have a strong desire to see the sector expand, I also believe that it has sometimes put me to the test. I believe that as an actor, I had attained what many considered to be the pinnacle of female accomplishment, and I saw it as a challenge.

“I wasn’t getting any film offers, and I was pregnant when we produced our first film,” she said. We decided to take a risk, produce a low-budget film, try something new, give it our best, and see what transpires. And once it was successful, I acquired Laung Laachi.

She remarked, “It’s a beautiful love story and I’m so blessed to be a part of it,” in reference to her forthcoming movie Shayar. During my lunch break, I was engrossed in their love story and found it impossible to put the movie down. I was engrossed in their love and trapped there.

Neeru was also full of admiration for the film’s poet, Satinder Sartaaj. “I believe he connected and resonated with the character,” she said. In the movie, you won’t see him; instead, you’ll see the character and be cut off from him.

The movie opens on April 19 today.
