Parineeti Chopra says she knew she would marry Raghav Chadha within only five minutes of their meeting: “It was only the voice of God.”

One of the most adored celebrity couples is Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha, who were married in a romantic wedding in Udaipur on September 24, 2023. Since then, their gorgeous photos on social media have continued to give us big pair aspirations.

The pair has discussed one another on several times. In a recent interview, the actress said that following their first encounter, she knew in “five minutes” that she would marry Raghav Chadha.

Parineeti Chopra spoke about how she first met Raghav during an award ceremony in the UK that was organized by the British Council, while speaking with Raj Shamani. The purpose of the award ceremony was to recognize outstanding accomplishments in a variety of professions. While her now-husband was honored in the government and politics category, she was honored in the entertainment category.

The actress said that she had never heard of him before and that the following day she had breakfast with him. It wasn’t until she looked him up online that she discovered his achievements. “We started talking to each other and realized not even in weeks, within days, we just used to talk about getting married,” she said, reflecting on her dating time.

The actress also spoke about how her mother used to tell her that she would know when the perfect person arrived. Despite this, the actress remained unaware. “My mother used to always tell me that you will know when your life partner walks in front of you,” the woman said. “Please don’t tell me these movie lines aisa kuch nahin hota,” I begged. I promise that after meeting Raghav, I knew I would marry him within only five minutes.

Parineeti went on to recount an incident in which she was thinking, “I think I’m gonna marry this man,” as she was starring at Raghav throughout the breakfast conversation while everyone else was talking about meditation and scuba diving.
“It was just some god’s voice inside me and then we started talking,” she said. At the time, we weren’t even close. After we got to chatting, it became clear to us over the following several days that this was it. We never even had a formal dating phase since, as we later disclosed, the main reason we were dating was to prepare for marriage. They also said that they had only ever discussed getting to know one other’s families.

In terms of her career, Parineeti Chopra is getting a lot of praise for her role in the newly released Imtiaz Ali film “Amar Singh Chamkila,” which also stars Diljit Dosanjh.
