Post Malone Joins Forces With Platinum Dunes, Brad Fuller’s Comics, Vault Comics For New IP Universe

Together, Platinum Dunes, Michael Bay, and Vault Comics have developed a brand-new IP world based on an original tale by the recording artist.

Malone’s story takes place in medieval Europe and combines elements of demonic horror films such as “Evil Dead” and road thrillers like “Mad Max: Fury Road.” The only thing preventing the horde of demons from overrunning the continent is an enigmatic armored 18-wheeler that appears to have been sent back from heaven.

Malone adds, “I couldn’t ask for better partners than Michael Bay and Vault to help bring this story to life. I’m so excited to share this badass story with the world.”

In close collaboration with Malone, Vault will initially publish the narrative as a graphic book in 2025. A major picture adaption will be developed simultaneously by Post Malone, Platinum Dunes, and Vault.

“This project is what you dream of,” says Damian Wassel, CEO of Vault. “We get to start from the ground up to create an entirely unique narrative with an amazing artist at the top of his game. Our renowned director is assisting in directing the artistic evolution. We are going to release an incredible graphic book on the globe, and that is just the start.

“Post Malone is incredibly gifted, and I love working with talented people,” remarks Bay. “Working on such an intriguing idea with him excites me, and adding Vault to the mix elevates the game.” The visual industry is in dire need of this fresh IP right now.

Malone collaborated with Taylor Swift on the first track “Fortnight” from “The Tortured Poets Department” last week, sharing a scene in the music video with her. Malone just appeared in Jake Gyllenhaal’s “Road House” adaptation on Prime Video.
