Prior to his death, Angus Cloud’s mother reported a “possible overdose” in a help call

In a 911 emergency call, the mother of “Euphoria” star Angus Cloud mentioned “possible overdose” as the cause of his abrupt death.

The ‘Euphoria’ star’s mother called 911 at approximately 11:30 a.m. on July 31 after discovering him unconscious at his family’s Oakland home, according to aceshowbiz.com.

Oakland PD and the Fire Department responded to the 911 call placed by Angus’ mother, according to censored audio of the incident that TMZ acquired. She said there was no pulse on the actor. He was finally declared dead there and then.

However, it should be emphasized that the official cause of death is yet unclear while authorities are looking into it.

The devastating news of Angus’ passing was verified by his family on Monday.

We had to say goodbye to an amazing human being today, and it broke my heart. Angus was significant to all of us in a variety of ways, including as an artist, a friend, a brother, and a son. He lost his father last week and suffered greatly, according to a statement from his family.

“The only solace we have is knowing Angus is now back with his dad, who was his best friend,” they said. We hope that Angus’ dying will serve as a reminder to others that they are not in this struggle alone and should not go through it in silence as he was open about it.

“We hope that he will be remembered for his sense of humor, ability to make people laugh, and love for all people. The family ended, “We beg for privacy at this time as we are still coming to terms with this heartbreaking loss.

After returning from Ireland where he had laid his father to rest, Angus was apparently struggling with suicide thoughts.

Months before his untimely death, a guy posing as the actor’s former talent manager wrote a long Twitter rant about his alleged battle with drug usage.

After meeting Angus in a rehabilitation center, where he said Cloud was a patient at the time, Diomi Cordero announced in April that he worked as Angus’ talent manager in 2021. He said that the actor’s drug addiction persisted even after he was released from the treatment center.

Diomi remembered the supposed July 4 BBQ in 2021 when Angus reportedly relapsed.

“It became immediately apparent that he had resumed substance abuse, just two days after finishing his treatment, upon entering his premises and attempting to greet him with a hug,” Diomi stated.

Over the next several months, according to Diomi, the “situation gradually deteriorated,” and by November 2021, Angus had “evidently relinquished control of his addiction.” The actor’s roommate then called him in a disturbing tone to inform him that the “North Hollywood” star was having trouble breathing.
