After starring alongside Shehzada Dhami in Dangal TV’s Shubh Shagun, Krishna Mukherjee, who gained popularity from the famous program Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, has taken a hiatus from television. The actress has finally disclosed her reason for leaving the program.

Krishna Mukherjee posted a statement on Instagram on Saturday in which she claimed that the producer of Shubh Shagun had been intimidating and harassing her. She also claimed that she quit filming since she wasn’t paid her dues.

The actress claimed that she had been mistreated on the show’s sets and that the producer was to blame for her recent bouts of anxiety and melancholy. She went on to say that the producer repeatedly threatened her, locked her in the makeup area, and knocked on the door as she was getting dressed.

“I never had the courage to speak my heart out, but today I decided not to hold it back anymore,” the actress said in her post. I’m going through a difficult moment, and the last 1.5 years haven’t been easy at all. In alone, I let out all of my tears and experienced anxiety and depression. It all began when I began filming Shubh Shagun, my last program for Dangal TV. I never should have made that choice in my life. Despite my distaste for it, I followed advice from others and signed the contract.

“The production house and the producer @kundan.singh.official has harassed me so many times,” the woman continued to write. They even locked me in my makeup room once when I was sick, and I elected not to shoot since they were not paying me for my job. As I was getting ready for bed, they kept hammering on the door of my makeup room, acting like they were going to break it. For five months, they never approved my payments. And the sum is enormous. I visited the Dangal office and the production house, but they never provided me with any entertainment.

She ended by stating that she had left the show because she felt uncomfortable on the set. “was also given dhamki numerous times.” The whole time, I felt afraid, damaged, and dangerous. I sense danger. I begged a lot of people for assistance, but I got none. There was nothing that anybody could do. I am asked all the time why I don’t perform shows. That’s the cause. What if the same thing occurs again? This worries me. Justice is what I need,” the actress wrote.

The actress received support and calls to pursue legal action from friends and other TV stars as soon as she shared the video on Instagram. When Krishna returns to Mumbai, Aly Goni urged him to prepare a police report. She was reassured by Shraddha Arya, Aditi Bhatia, Pavitra Punia, and others that she is not fighting this battle alone.
