Rati Pandey responds to the legal difficulties Bhojpuri movie “Rang De Basanti” is facing

“Rang De Basanti,” the next Bhojpuri movie starring Rati Pandey, had difficulties with the Central Board of Film Certification. Because of its resemblance to the Aamir Khan-starring Hindi movie from 2006, the CBFC insisted on a title change.

The case was presented before the Bombay High Court on March 18, 2024. The Bhojpuri film was supposed to be released on March 22, 2024, but the producers refused to change the title, therefore the CBFC objected. In the end, the movie underwent many changes mandated by the CBFC.

Rati Pandey recently said that they are all connected to the case since they are a part of it in an interview with Times Now. She is able to relate to the creators’ emotions, problems, upheavals, and obstacles. This was a high-end Bhojpuri film with a unique taste. It was to be the first Bhojpuri film to be distributed in almost every area of India. It had been about a year since they had finished filming, so she was really happy. In addition to the enormous amount of money spent, the picture required a lot of labor-intensive effort.

Since she is also from Bihar, her family was quite excited about the release of her movie. The scope was enormous. Large-scale marketing were also planned for both rural and urban regions. They were even expected to make unexpected appearances at theaters. Now that everything has stopped, it is clear that they are all unhappy.

Rati went on to say that because the movie is mostly focused on families, she is not aware of any cutbacks. If it were impolite, she wouldn’t have completed it all. Nothing in and of itself is subject to censorship. Since the movie doesn’t include any ridiculous material, she would advise the kids to watch it.

The majority of Rati Pandey’s fame comes from her roles in a number of well-known television series.
