Though it hasn’t exactly blown up the box office, Ajay Devgn’s most recent film, Maidaan, is unquestionably winning praise in the Bollywood community. Actress Taapsee Pannu recently endorsed the sports drama, despite the reaction at the ticket booths being lackluster. Taapsee Pannu posted a picture from the theater along with her comments on the film on her Instagram Stories. “Maidaan,” she stated in her message. Thus, let’s not argue that our major motion pictures lack heart and spirit.

Maidaan, which is directed by Amit Ravindernath Sharma, is based on the biography of Syed Abdul Rahim, who managed and coached the Indian football team from 1950 to 1963. Ajay portrays Rahim, the main character in the movie; notable performances are also given by Priya Mani, who plays Ajay’s loving wife, and Gajraj Rao, who plays a perceptive journalist.

Since its April 10 release, the movie has made over Rs 25 crore in box office receipts. The film was produced with a 100 crore rupee budget.

Regarding his career, Ajay Devgn has a really amazing backlog of projects. He will appear in the much awaited Raid 2, directed by Raj Kumar Gupta. Riteish Deshmukh and Vaani Kapoor will accompany Ajay Devgn. In addition, he will feature in the forthcoming romantic drama Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha directed by Neeraj Pandey.

In the meanwhile, Taapsee Pannu will feature in the forthcoming comedy Khel Khel Mein, directed by Mudassar Aziz. Vaani Kapoor, Fardeen Khan, and Akshay Kumar all play significant parts in it as well.
