Salman Khan Reveals “Sikandar” for AR Murugadoss and Teases 2025 Eid Movie

Mumbai: Salman Khan made a significant statement on Thursday, making up for the fact that he did not treat his fans to an Eid special movie this year. The actor eventually announced on social media that he would be providing a good show for Eid celebrations next year.

Salman disclosed the title of the movie and said that he would return next year to celebrate Eid with his fans under the direction of AR Murugadoss.

Salman is starring as the title character in the big-screen production, “Sikandar.” Produced by Sajid Nadiwadwala, it is the star’s first work with the filmmaker, who has directed Tamil movies such as Sarkar (Rajinikanth), Darbar (Darbar), Kaththi (Thalapathy Vijay), and Ghajini (Aamir Khan). In 2014, he also penned “Jai Ho” for Salman. The movie was an authentic replica of his “Stalin” Tamil flick. In 2014, Murugadoss directed “Holiday: A Soldier Is Never Off Duty,” starring Akshay Kumar. It was a reimagining of his movie “Thuppakki” from 2012.

Salman has recently been filming for his next project with Dharma Productions. The Bull, a movie, has allegedly been put on hold due to India’s current tense ties with the Maldives. The movie is based on a true account of Operation Cactus, which took place in the Maldives in 1998. Salman portrays paramilitary commander Brigadier Farukh Bulsara, who oversaw the operation to stop a coup attempt against President Abdul Gayoom’s Maldivian government.

Not much information on “Sikandar” has been made public yet. Considering how Murugadoss loves to combine drama, emotions, and action with a purpose in his tales, it is believed that the movie would be action entertainment with an emotional plot.
