The Maharashtra Cyber Cell has called Tamannaah Bhatia, who must show up for

Actor Tamannaah Bhatia has reportedly been summoned by the Maharashtra cyber cell about the purported advertising of watching IPL matches on a spinoff app of the Mahadev online gambling and betting program, authorities said on Thursday.

According to a top police source, the actor has been called to appear before the Maharashtra cyber personnel on April 29. According to him, Bhatia was called in by the Maharashtra cyber cell for allegedly encouraging people to watch Indian Premier League (IPL) games on the Fairplay betting app.

In 2023, authorities claimed that several IPL matches were illegally broadcast via the app, citing a complaint to support their claim. An official said that the star has been invited to record her testimony as a witness in the case. He claimed that the testimonies of singer Badshah and the managers of actors Sanjay Dutt and Jacqueline Fernandez in the case have already been recorded by the Maharashtra cyber cell.

Numerous investigative organizations are looking into the Mahadev app because to claims of fraudulent transactions and gambling. Bhatia is well-known for her roles in the Netflix anthology Lust Stories 2 and the movie Baahubali.
