The True Reason Diljit Dosanjh Denies Rumored Wife and Family Attention: “There Were Protests”

Diljit Dosanjh has maintained extreme secrecy over his personal affairs. The Punjabi actor has not shared any details about his personal life with his followers. His co-star Anjum Batra in Amar Singh Chamkila said that the shield’s motivation, while he hasn’t discussed it much, had to do with a protest that happened in Punjab a few years back over a song he sang.

Although he is not aware of Diljit’s marital status, the actor—who portrayed Tabla player Kesar Singh Tiki—said he could explain why Diljit keeps his personal life private. Regarding the rumors of his marriage, he told Bollywood Now, “I don’t want to comment on this subject because I don’t know.” However, there is one thing about Diljit that he also mentioned on Amar Singh Chamkila’s sets: a number of years ago, demonstrations were held outside his home due to a song he published. He has been very protective of his family ever since. This explains why he keeps his personal life private and low key,” he said.

It was recently claimed that Diljit is supposedly married and has a child. An anonymous acquaintance provided information on Diljit Dosanjh’s spouse and kids for an Indian Express feature published in Sunday Express Eye. According to the acquaintance, the wife of the Punjabi singer is Indian-American, and the two of them have a kid together. As to the profile article, he is a very quiet guy. However, acquaintances have said that his wife is American-Indian, they have a kid, and his parents reside in Ludhiana. Additionally, the article states that his kid and wife are US citizens.

Diljit has not yet provided a statement on the matter. But he did admit earlier this month that he doesn’t get along with his parents. The musician recounted that his parents sent him to live with his uncle (mama ji) in order to provide him with a higher quality of life, but they neglected to inquire as to whether he was happy with the choice in a conversation with YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia. He lost contact with his parents as a result of this transfer. And he said he still had respect for them.
