Aamir Khan was asked to grace the evening at an event thrown by the directors of the Srikanth movie a while back to premiere the remake of the song Papa Kehte Hain. Aamir Khan, Rajkummar Rao, and Alaya F are now seen singing and having fun as the song is being played by a group of musicians who are blind or visually challenged in a video that has gone viral.
In the video, Mr. Perfectionist is seen alongside the other B-town heavyweights in the front row, fully concentrating on the vocalists as they perform a song that is dear to his heart. The man who inspired the movie, Srikanth Bolla, is seated just next him. Rajkummar, who will portray the main character, comes next.
The Bheed actor looked stylish in his beige shoes and blue jeans with a multicolored top. The actor, sporting sunglasses, sang along with the band as they swayed to the tune. Alaya F, who looked stunning in an ivory-colored designer crop top and skirt combination, joined him.

The upbeat song Papa Kehte Hain, performed by Udit Narayan, dominated the charts back in the day, even though the film’s soundtrack CD went on to become a best-seller.
As previously reported by Pinkvilla, Khan and the Srikanth team debuted the song Papa Kehta Hain during a special Mumbai-hosted event. Khan spoke about how meaningful the music is to him at the launch. It’s the tune that launched my career, he remarked. It is very unique. Each of us was just getting started. The trip was thrilling. We had no idea whether it would succeed or fail. Mansoor and I used to have problems watching the movie. After the movie was out, we lost control over it. It seems like a turning point for Indian film. The actor said, “If we see from 1988 to 1994, it changed sensibilities.”
Talented performers like Jyothika, Alaya F, Sharad Kelkar, and Jameel Khan join Rao, who is the show’s leader. After many postponements, Tushar Hiranandani’s film is finally slated for release on May 10, 2024.
Rao’s first film following Bheed’s success is Srikanth. The romantic sports drama Mr. & Mrs. Mahi is the next project he’ll be seen on film with Janhvi Kapoor. In addition, he is shooting for the official follow-up to the hugely successful horror comedy Stree, called Stree 2.
