Vijay Deverakonda responds to trolls who criticize his song, “Nobody Here Is Stupid Enough,” featuring Family Star

With his film “Family Star,” Vijay Deverakonda is getting ready to make a big screen comeback. He is now occupied with film promotion. The main character of the film is Govardhan, a middle-class guy who aspires to be successful in life but struggles with ego in relationships. The song ‘Kalyani Vaccha Vacchaa’ from the film has received backlash lately for its ostentatious imagery. Vijay has responded to haters who have criticized the song without seeing the film.

 

“I don’t understand, Are people genuinely confused, or are they just looking to troll us?” Vijay said this during the event. Everybody has grown up seeing extravagant dream sequences in movies. There isn’t a single idiot here who would direct a movie in which the hero asks the girl to pay for gas while having an extravagant wedding.”

“But even then, so what if he’s middle class?” he said. Wouldn’t the tale have allowed him to better serve himself? Let’s see the movie first before drawing any conclusions.

Dil Raju produces the film under the Sri Venkateswara Creations brand. On April 5, “Family Star” will open in theaters. ‘Family Star’ will have Mrunal Thakur as the main actress.

Regarding his career, Vijay Deverakonda and Samantha Ruth Prabhu were most recently seen in “Kushi.” Director Shiva Nirvana discussed his experience working with Samantha and Vijay and complimented their performances in an interview with the Hyderabad Times.

“Although my dream was to direct, I always believed that becoming an assistant director was the best I could do in this industry.” However, here I am, five years later, collaborating with talented performers like Vijay and Samantha. I’m grateful that I can accomplish this,” he said to the Hyderabad Times.

Regarding Vijay, he said, “Vijay was the ideal choice for me since I wanted an actor who could suit the part without allowing his fame to get in the way. He will have amazing chemistry with Samantha in the movie, and the humor and feelings it contains will make viewers laugh and cry. This movie will be much lighter-hearted than Ninnu Kori and Majili, which were both dramatic and emotional.”

Not much information regarding “VD 12,” the film in which Vijay will next feature, has been released.
