Was “Rambo,” starring Tiger Shroff, shelved? What we know is as follows

The development of “Rambo,” the highly anticipated Bollywood action star Tiger Shroff flick, has been halted in the wake of Tiger Shroff’s recent run of poor box office performance.

When “Rambo” was first announced in 2020 by director Siddharth Anand, it was expected to highlight actor Shroff’s skills in intense action scenes, fitting in well with his already-established on-screen character.

Nevertheless, the producers of “Rambo” have apparently chosen to abandon the project after the lackluster box office results of Shroff’s most recent films, “Heropanti 2” (2022) and “Ganapath” (2023). According to Mid-day, director Rohit Dhawan and producer Siddharth had high expectations for “Rambo,” but after the lackluster reception to “Heropanti 2” and “Ganapath,” they decided to hold off on making the movie until after the public saw “Bade Miyan Chote Miyan.” Sadly, “BMCM” also failed at the box office, which led to plans to shelve “Rambo,” according to the article.

Tiger Shroff, who has been in the spotlight for his action-packed roles over the course of a decade, allegedly received a price of Rs 30 crore for the film “Bade Miyan Chote Miyan.” Mid-day said that Tiger should lower his costs. Despite the setback, Tiger Shroff is still working on projects in the business, such as “Singham Again” and the next film directed by Karan Johar.
