In Bollywood, Rajkumar Rao is renowned for his talented and adaptable acting. Millions of admirers retain a particular place in their hearts for the actor who rose to fame in the film business with his frequent roles in films such as Newton and Stree. In his forthcoming film Srikanth, Rajkummar Rao discusses taking on the character of businessman Srikanth Bolla.

The actor said that even after 14 years in the business, he is still looking for difficult assignments. “I don’t really plan,” he said. My ideal role is whichever character or movie I’m working on at the time. The persona and the narrative are all I have on my mind. There is undoubtedly a lot more in front of me.”

He continued, saying, “I didn’t think I would be able to do ‘Srikanth’ till around two or three years ago, but it did happen. As an actor, I’m more driven and hungry than ever. I’ll be facing a lot more difficult personalities.” Rao said that he has no desire to work on an action movie or a potboiler movie when questioned. The 39-year-old actor said he had a “duty” to the real-life individual he portrays on screen. He has worked on highly regarded biographical films like “Shahid,” “Omerta,” and “Bose: Dead/Alive.”

In the film “Srikanth,” Rao plays the title industrialist, who, in spite of his vision handicap, followed his ambitions and founded Bollant Industries. Jyothika, Alaya F., Sharad Kelkar, and Jameel Khan will also be in the movie. The movie, which is helmed by Tushar Hiranandani, will be released on May 10.

For those who don’t know, Rajkummar Rao made his screen debut in 2010 with the release of “Love Sex Aur Dhokha.” Since then, he has established a successful career in a variety of genres, including “Trapped,” “Shahid,” “Bareilly Ki Barfi,” “Newton,” “Stree,” and “Monica, O My Darling,” among many others.
